Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, I was extremely active with swimming, basketball, volleyball, softball, and yes you guessed it dog mushing! I attended the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and was a member of the basketball team. In June of 1990, I took a giant leap from the basketball court to the heat and landed in Phoenix on its hottest day - literally 125 degrees - something this girl from Alaska will never forget.
Tucson became home in 1998 where I was introduced to the world of flooring. From customer service to installation management to outside sales to branch management and back to outside sales again, it's been one heck of a ride with life long friendships developed along the way.
